Why Prosomnia?

Prosomnia is a scientifically formulated combination of naturally-derived ingredients that has been shown in clinical trials to help improve the quality of sleep.3,4,5,6

With regular, daily use Prosomnia helps you:

  • Reduce the amount of time taken to get to sleep
  • Stay asleep and wake less often
  • Spend more time in the deep restorative phase of sleep
  • Wake feeling refreshed
Prosomnia in clinical trials

Getting to sleepIn a placebo-controlled study Prosomnia reduced the time taken to get to sleep from an average of 56.5 minutes to an average of 12 minutes after four weeks of daily use.5

Staying asleep

Once asleep you may also wake less often.

In an observational study, patients who took Prosomnia for two weeks, subsequently spent less than half the time awake in bed than beforehand.4

In a separate study of 3,447 patients, the number who ‘slept well’ (waking only once or less during the night) increased more than a three-fold to over 77% after taking Prosomnia for 5 weeks.6

How will Prosomnia improve my sleeping patterns?

More importantly though, Prosomnia is not just a “quick fix”, it is a longer term solution. In addition to helping you get to sleep and stay asleep, one of the major benefits of Prosomnia is that over time Prosomnia gently assists the body to help restore natural sleep patterns and during this time it helps you increase the amount of time spent in the deeper, more restorative phases of the sleep cycle.3,4,5

To help illustrate the effect of Prosomnia, see the diagrams below of a patients sleep cycle, using a Hypnogram, before and after using Prosomnia.3

The red line indicates the patient’s progress through the stages of the sleep cycle during the night and shows the patient experienced a disturbed sleep, with frequent waking and little time spent in the deeper stages of sleep

This time the patient experienced less frequent waking, a cleaner and less cluttered sleep cycle and more time in deeper restorative sleep.

If you are typically a “light sleeper” Prosomnia may be just what you need to get more of the deep sleep that your body really needs.

Prosomnia plus behavioural change for best results1

Lifestyle and healthy sleeping habits are also important to help you achieve a good night’s sleep.

While there are many different sleep hygiene actions you may try, a recent study has shown that following just a few simple steps can help you optimise your results.7

  • Reduce time in bed
  • Get up at the same time every day
  • Do not go to bed unless sleepy
  • Do not stay in bed unless asleep.
  • Napping is discouraged.

In addition, things to avoid include excessive caffeine and stressful or strenuous
activities (physical or mental) immediately before bed.
